The Person Behind Planetesimals

It began with a question.

Simran, founder of Planet Esimals

I was fifteen when I first became curious about the things beneath the surface. Not just what was happening, but why. Why certain patterns kept returning. Why some seasons of life felt inevitable, while others seemed to ask for a choice. Why two people could move through the same circumstance and experience it so differently. That curiosity stayed.

At eighteen, I found my gurus. What began as a search gradually became a discipline — one that continues to shape the way I see life, people, and the work I do today.

Over the years, astrology became much more than something I studied. It became a language through which I could observe human nature, timing, circumstance and choice with a little more clarity. But I never saw a birth chart as a verdict. I see it as a map.

A map can show you the terrain. It can help you understand where you are, what you may be moving through, and where certain patterns tend to repeat. But it cannot make your choices for you. That part remains yours.

This is at the heart of how I work. My approach is deeply rooted in classical Vedic astrology, while remaining grounded in the realities of modern life. I work with the principles of Desh, Kaal and Paristhiti — the understanding that no person can be separated from their time, place and circumstances. Because a chart is never meant to exist in isolation from the person living it.

Over time, my work has naturally expanded beyond astrology itself — into meditation, philosophy, psychology, self-awareness and the quieter questions that make us human. The intention has remained simple: to help people understand themselves a little more honestly.

Sometimes that means making sense of a difficult phase. Sometimes it means recognising a pattern that has been repeating for years. Sometimes it means finding clarity before making an important decision. And sometimes, it simply means having someone sit with you long enough for something you already knew to become clear.

I have had the privilege of working with people from different parts of the world, from different professions, backgrounds and stages of life. Many came for one conversation and stayed for years. That trust means more to me than any number ever could.

I don’t believe astrology should create fear, dependence or the feeling that your life is already decided. I believe it should create awareness. The more clearly we understand our patterns, the more consciously we can meet them.

That is also why I believe in practical guidance. Ancient wisdom becomes meaningful when it can be lived— not simply admired. The remedies, practices and perspectives I share are meant to find their place in real lives, with real responsibilities, relationships, emotions and limitations.

Perhaps that is what has kept me connected to this work for so long. The chart is only the beginning. The deeper work is what happens when you begin to understand yourself. And that, for me, has always been the most meaningful part of the journey.
